Red River Rover Campout!!!

I went camping over father's day weekend with my old roommate Josh Harp. We had fun although we kept getting harrassed by some late night campers that showed up at our camp site twice within 15 minutes. We had a total of 3 visits to our site within the time we were there. Anyway, we found a great site by a tributary that we could drive the rover to. way off the main road and way cool for the night!!! No fish were to be caught on saturday though. that was a little bit of a let down... oh well!

LANDON IS 9 MONTHS TODAY!!!

My is he getting old. It seems forever ago that christina kept making me feel her tummy worried that I would get to bond enough with Landon before he was born. Yeah, I didn't get into that like she did!!!

Landon has been a blast though ever since. He can crawl, climb, pull up to a stand, get in trouble and even learned how to clear a step this past weekend. Not to mention he is a bulldozer coming across the room!!! Stay out of his way or he will plow you down! the little bruiser!

Memorial Weekend Madness!!!

This is second time I have had to write this post...the first disappeared out of the blue. :( Anyway, this was an excitment packed weekend for many! Landon had an awesome weekend for him but a scarey one for us! On saturday he crawled officially for the first time!!! What a crazy kid! He was going straight for the car keys!!! what a surprise... wait 'til he is 16! Whew! He also spent the weekend pulling up on things and chowing down on some of his great grandmother's biscuits and on some frozen custard! Yummy! Here he is eating some of grandma perkins' custard on my parent's 30th wedding anniversary! That is amazing. 30 YEARS! That's a long time!!!

Perkins' Come to Visit!

Grandma and Grandpa Perkins came to visit 2 weekends back... they got to see Landon at his finest. Sick and restless! But those teeth were in!!!

What a snake.... I mean worm!!!

This was the biggest earthworm I had ever seen. It was probably the second or third coolest thing I had ever seen in my life too... that I remember anyway. It could have eaten a small child I think. It was over 1.5' long and a 1/2" thick at its thickest!!!! It was incredible!!!

Baby Bivins is alive and well!!!!!!

"At 10:37 AM on 4/26/07, Malia Grace Bivins was born. She weighs 7 lbs 3 oz and is 19 inches long. Shawna says that she has daddy's nose....I have no idea. I am partial, but she is cute. She does have darker hair just like her sister so who knows what she will end up with."

Hairy Situation!

A child with hair is always amazing to me now!!! After we had our little baldy! Kush Maheshwari (the son of a friend in St. Louis) definitely has the hair he is getting do big too! He is just a few days shy of celebrating his 1st birthday. It is crazy... This just emphasizes how long we have been away from St. Louis and our friends there.

The debate is still on as to whether or not we will move again... well, let me set it straight for the moment. There are no plans to go anywhere right now. In fact I just started to move some plants around in my yard and create some new landscape beds.

Well, The Bivins just sent an email that their new baby girl #2 has arrived a little while ago!!! Congrats!!!
